A letter from the superintendent.

My wife, Casey, and I and our five children are excited to return back to the area and serve our new community.

I am starting my 26th year in education. Nine of those years were as a K-8 physical education/health teacher and coach. I spent one year as an associate principal and activities director in Oelwein before moving into the high school principal position for eight more years. My last seven years have been as the superintendent of Lake Mills schools and now my first year in Jesup as the new superintendent. The community has overwhelmingly approved a $20 million dollar building project that will highlight new fine arts facilities with a brand new auditorium as well as new career and technical areas, add more classrooms to accommodate our growing class sizes, and improve safety infrastructure.

I am excited to dive in and learn and build on the strong tradition of excellence here in Jesup and develop well-rounded productive, responsible caring citizens who are lifelong learners.
